NI Network Gas Transmission Code
Shippers intending to transport gas through the NI Transportation System are required to accede to the NI Network Gas Transmission Code, which is approved by the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation (NIAUR).
The NI Network Gas Transmission Code records certain rights and responsibilities of each of the parties involved in the transportation of natural gas through the NI Transportation System.

Code Modifications
Under section 2.4D.7 of their Gas Conveyance licences, the TSOs are required to act in conjunction and cooperation with every other HP Gas Conveyance Licensee to take all reasonable steps to establish and implement procedures for the modification of the NI Network Gas Transmission Code. The overall process is designed to enable stakeholders to propose modifications to the Code, subject to consultation and approval by NIAUR.
